Cactus Jack Records runs its own A&R under founder Travis Scott. Unsolicited demos are not accepted. The label signs hip-hop and trap artists through A&R scouting and Scott's network. Travis Scott has stated that he is not doing it to have financial control over his music, but first and foremost to help other artists, launch new names, and provide opportunities. He wants to do for them what happened to him, but better.
